Bachelor of Science- Communication, Southern Oregon University

A 1982 graduate of what was then Grace Christian School, Mr. McCoy began teaching Broadcasting at CCHS in 2017, after nearly 30 years in the media- primarily radio. In 2019- he became a full-time part of the GCCS team when he became Communication Coordinator. McCoy is also the “Voice of the Challengers” on Table Rock Sports. He and his wife Lynnae are parents to three children (2 girls, 1 boy), one a 2021 graduate of Cascade Christian. The McCoys attend Community Bible Church of Central Point, where Jim is a deacon, and serves in worship ministry, along with his wife and oldest daughter.
