Cascade Christian Middle School – Year Highlights
6th Grade
At Cascade Christian Middle School, sixth grade is a part of the middle school, yet with a hybrid format. There are two sixth grade classrooms that have a self-contained classroom structure, which gives students the opportunity to move to the opposite classroom for science and math. This allows students to become comfortable with their atmosphere and a little experience changing classrooms before they transition to 7th and 8th grade. In addition to building on core subjects, some of the highlights of sixth grade include Science, English Language Arts, Bible, Heritage, Music, Band, and Sports.
7th Grade
During seventh grade, students will be experiencing many academic, physical, spiritual and emotional changes. They will be excited to switch classes each period, have a locker and a little more independence. Below is what our seventh graders can look forward to.
- Hands-on exploratory learning through cooperative learning opportunities and experiments
- Experience Classes – such as Drama, Culinary Arts, Band, Choir, Chess, Computers, Hands & Feet Outreach Ministry, Wood Carving, PE, Leadership and more!
- Advanced Math class opportunities
- Activities and Sports (see full list of Sports here)
- Daily bible classes and weekly chapel
- Special Events: Spring field trip, Annual Chalk Festival, Music/Drama Productions
8th Grade
The 8th grade year is one of the most anticipated with all of the exciting activities and opportunities it brings. In preparation for high school, our 8th graders will continuing learning and growing academically and spiritually to successfully transition to the next phase of their journey. Below is what are 8th grade looks forward to.
